Le Balamina

"We were very kindly received at the reception desk after we „survived” a deception on our arrival in Porto Vecchio, because the owner of the apartment we had originally booked pretended that he had cancelled the booking, which was not true. The staff at Le Balamina made us feel safe regarding our stay in Porto Vecchio. We also had a delicious continental breakfast. We can‘t but recommend this Hotel which is not far from the port."

"Room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is outside the town centre so it’s best to have your own transport - there is free on-site parking available. If you do then drive into town … go early, or you may find it difficult to park because it gets very busy. The hotel’s pool area is great and well-maintained - towels are available from reception (cash deposit required). The only downside was the lack of a fridge in the room (to keep drinks cold)."

"rganised and unmotivated. Tables often remained uncleared for more than 15 minutes while guests waited for somewhere to sit, or ended up clearing tables themselves and searching for cutlery, cups, or glasses. The breakfast selection was equally disappointing and far below what one would expect from a Radisson Blu hotel. There were virtually no Corsican specialties, only two kinds of industrial cheese, very limited fresh fruit, and melons that were so hard they were practically inedible. "Amazing hotel!! Incredible pool (pool towels included), clean and well equipped rooms with loads of space. Newly equipped with a great breakfast too. Small gym but does the job but an overall great hotel."

"What an amazing hotel. You really do feel at the very top of Bonifacio. And you sort of are,and remember that when walking up the hill there! We paid extra for sea view and balcony. Totally worth it. Staff friendly. Breakfast varied and local. Not just stuff bought in the supermarket. Room comfortable. All in all,an absolute pleasure. Was Sorry to be moving on."

"Exceptional hotel. Pool and rooms were perfect staff were super helpful. Location is great and very quiet, yet still close enough to bars and restaurants and the shuttle bus to town is also really handy. Highly recommend. Only minor issue ac in room was not great. But still a lovely hotel"
