"Not a four star hotel by any means. Delux room was functionall Ikea style. With a tiny shower room, where there was a persistent sewage smell. The thin walls also meant we could clearly hear the neighboring room in the corridor. The room was basic, with no kettle or iron. "The staff at Orla was very accommodating and kind. Customer service was the best I’ve ever experienced. My room was clean and well kept. I felt very safe staying here! The views from my room were incredible - also the room was very quiet even with being on a busy street in Copacabana!"

"Super well located in a nice and safe area in Ipanema. The staff is super nice and helpful. The breakfast is great. Rooms were very nice although a bit small. One thing I would recommend is an improvement to the shower. Great place, would definitely stay there."

"The only downside to this property was the location. The surrounding area was very dirty and felt unsafe especially after dark. But the actual property was great, nice breakfast with a lot of options. Several of the staff spoke English which was very helpful."
