"A very private place just a little bit out in the country. So many birds singing and the view was lovely. The suite is much bigger than it appears in the photos, and the bed was very comfortable. It was too cold to swim when we were there, but there's so much to do in the region that was no problem. Our host, Catherine, was very nice and is a fantastic baker. The breakfasts are unbelievable! "This property was marvelous. It’s a very local home in Marseille with lovely unique features. Mlle Andree is a kind and gracious host. We entirely enjoy meeting locals as we travel and this stay truly met that expectation. Plus, our apartment was quiet, clean and comfortable. Mlle Andre brought fresh and homemade pastries to us each evening that we could enjoy as an afternoon snack or as breakfast the next morning. We would highly recommend this property. "We had an excellent experience at Château de Saint-Girons. The property is beautiful and provides a feeling of Aix and Provence that is not replicated in a hotel. The pool and backyard provided a restful oasis. Having breakfast in the yard was a great way to start the day. Just hanging out in the yard under the trees was relaxing.
