"Boutique hotel it was not, no aircon, expensive for what you got. The extractor in my bedroom was incredibly noisy, I measured it at 75dB. My fellow travellers were kept awake by the laundry machines which worked most of the night. Disappointing overall, would not recommend."

"We had an amazing time,the surroundings are just incredible,so beautiful and peaceful.My family really enjoyed the barn and we played board games,lit a fire which was fabulous.The option to BBQ also.We had such fun.Our huts were just gorgeous,everything was spotlessly clean,the bed was so comfortable and the bedding was to a very high standard.We took a stroll through the meadow and had a turn in the paddle boat on the the water on the grounds,so much fun.The hosts really take great care of this...

"Our Kilkea Castel stay was amazing. It was quite beautiful clean and very pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Also the activities room was great and the staff was very helpful there as well. The only thing that was a bit off putting was the smoking in the patio area while me and my children were sitting outside although I'm not sure non smoking areas are a thing in Ireland. Also we came on the hottest week of the year and there wasn't air conditioning or...

"If you are looking for peace and quiet - this isn't the hotel for you. Very (very) noisy due to the huge amount of families with small children. However, the outdoor infinity pool is a quiet oasis away from the chaos!"
