Excellent airport hotel

Brand new property. Ideally located next to airport. Front desk staff and management were excellent. No liquor license yet and restaurant staff was friendly but not very attentive. Restaurant also out of many items (such as Coke/pepsi).

We had a lovely family stay here. Rooms were comfortable, pool clean and staff were generally welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately we did not like food at the restaurant, other than the burger, fries and omelette. The food service was slow. It seemed like they were understaffed. The stuffed mushrooms tasted like they were reheated and laid on a bed of old/stale chopped lettuce. The surf and turf bites were also disappointing. Our room lacked hand soap, which we were told was currently out of stock. Another great perk of this hotel is its gym. We were pleasantly surprised with its amenities. It was also refreshing to see allergens listed on the menu in Guyana. However, people with allergies should still be careful as the list was missing some, e.g a salad with croutons did not list wheat as an allergen nor did a brownie containing egg list it under allergens. All this being said we would definitely stay here again. And look forward to enjoying better meals here in the future.

let me start by saying the hotel manger (an asian man) was amazing and had great customer service skills.. it’s one of the only reasons i am giving it 2 stars instead of 1.: no toothpaste, microwave or handsoap in the room for 300 a night !?? food was awful … so called free complimentary american breakfast was awful .. bacon was cooked so hard it tasted like paper.. called the front desk option on the phone several times with no answer … order glass of wine and it was 15 and barely hit half the glass.. vodka mixed drink was more and tasted nothing but juice and ice lol . overall not worth the money .. if it was 120 a night i MAY have understood!! but NO MAAM.. i literally threw 320 in the garbage .. horrible and to smack the name marriott on it is even worse

Room was clean, hotel is very clean and smells nice. Staff were very polite and helpful. Only thing was I asked for a late check out and staff were a bit unsure of it at first but in the end gave me an extra hour. Other than that, great spot for us to just spend a quick night to catch our flight the next day.

The Courtyard at Cheddi Jagan IA is extremely clean and convenient. The property was immaculate, staff were friendly, their bar/coffee shop and variety of foods being offered at the lunch buffet were all excellent. I loved the shuttle (can be used upon request if needed, but let the property know ahead of time).

This was a beautiful property but the breakfast experience let down the entire stay. The staff were flustered. The coffee machine stopped working and all breakfast orders were slow to come out. Most of the guests were talking about how long it was taking just to have someone come to take our orders. And when the order came it was not what we asked for, but no one wanted to wait half hour just to have the order corrected

The customer service is horrible. If a problem comes up, the staff doesn’t even try to help. The staff’s attitude throughout my whole stay was entirely rude and indifferent towards me. Although we paid for breakfast included, the breakfast options were limited. Also, do not book through Expedia if you want a semi enjoyable stay. The included breakfast we paid for did not show up in the system and we were almost forced to pay full price. The lights continuously went out during our stay, and only in the hotel premises. Everyone here is rude. Finding someone that isn’t is a miracle. Do not recommend.
