The place is a mess. Constantly being renovated. They advertise a restaurant, but it is under construction. The rooms are old and not very clean. Stay somewhere else!

This is a motel, not a hotel. Our “nonsmoking” room was located on the way back of the property that definitely smelled like smoke. We did not take showers as the water also had an odor. The outside of the rooms had trash, grills, and what appeared to be broke down cars all over. Had it not been so late and we were exhausted, we would have went else where. We will never stay here again and would not recommend anyone else as well.

Hotel has under the name of "Magnuson Hotel" Dingy wash cloths towels. Stained tub. Stains on carpet. Black grainy material in bath water. No soap, no shampoo. Did not clean room on second day. Shower did not work, had to call maintaince to turn off bathtub. Breakfast? cereal. Mini donuts, coffee. Restaurant closed. We will never stay at this property again. Note, I stayed here years ago and it was a nice place, good restaurant, friendly staff. Looks like years of neglect and poor property management. Fix up this property, or it will fail.

the property was ok, they were remodeling rooms and the one that cleaned ro0ms was very poor. you adverted free breakfast and they did not have that, which is false advertisement, that was one of the reason for booking this hotel , and for what you charge for the rooms, I feel I should get some kind of refund for your false advertisement.

We reserved a king bed room, when we arrived, staff was great! Greeted with a smile, very friendly! But when we arrived to the room, there was black spots all over the walls, when I pulled the bed runner back, there was mold all over it.. I looked at my wife, and said grab all our stuff, and let’s get out of here. We went back to the front desk, offered a different room, she walked with us to inspect, first sight it was ok. We agreed to stay. We were researching the area, turned on a lamp to read, and the back side of the lamp was smashed in. I looked closer and there was black spots all over these walls too????? I would not recommend this place to anyone..

We went inside our room and it was disgusting. Carpet dirty, window filthy, a hole under the door that anything could crawl into your room, long term people not so clean(dirty bbq grill in the walkway on 2nd floor), bathroom, nasty. Could go on and on. There is absolutely no mountain view. We ended up going to another hotel. We should get our money back.

Hotel was dirty on the outside stairways dirty no lights in the elevator. Room itself was clean. However, cold water in the bathtub unable to be turned on. Conditioner hanging on the wall in the bathroom was either empty or so clogged then nothing would come out. Although given the internet code, we were never able to access the internet. The continental breakfast that was advertised was a brown bag with some applesauce some breakfast bars some raisins some water and a banana. A very disappointing stay.

This property is badly in need of a renovation. The room was very smelly and musty. The carpet and upholstered chairs were filthy. The toilet seat was broken. Rust in areas in the bathroom. No stopper for sink. I was concerned if the bed was clean and almost afraid to sleep in it. The “free” breakfast came in a bag. I believe this is one of the worse hotel’s I’ve ever stayed in. Covington is a small town right off I-64 but there is a supply and demand issue. The price I paid was not worth it.

The property is old and poorly maintained. While the receptionist was friendly, nearly everything else was disappointing. The room showed clear water damage on the ceiling, with parts of the ceiling hanging down, and half of the curtains were stained. The carpet had multiple large stains, and the refrigerator was so loud it had to be unplugged. The shower and sink were filthy, with mold around the edges. Additionally, my reservation was for a king bed for two people, but at check-in I was told the only available option was a room with two double beds. This was especially inconvenient when traveling with a spouse.

Our room smelled. We went to store for spray. Smell of Marijuana smoke was overpowering. Freezer was completely iced up & temp knob broken off. Refrigerator unit is leaning, like legs were broken & rusted. Every 15 minutes it sounded like a shower was turned on. Metal objects are rusty. If I had other options I would have left.
