All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. Otherwise, there are very limited restaurant options, and no markets nearby, so stock up before you get on the ferry, either at Mossman or Port Douglas....

"There were some minor maintenance issues, which were remedied immediately. The staff were friendly and the location is perfect, as shopping, dining, coffee spots are literally around the corner! The cleanliness of the rooms was good with room for some improvement - although this was not enough to marr the experience in any way :)"
