"First the good: the hotel location was perfect, in-town, and close to Canada Place with many amenities nearby. The staff was nice and helpful. And the hotel was clean enough. I would stay there again.
The bad: The room was too dark for my taste. An overhead light would have been useful. The light orb on the desk blinds your eyes without lighting the desktop very well. The safe didn't work. When I inquired about it, I was told that someone would come by my room in 10-minutes to look at it. No one came. I had to nag again to get it addressed. The hotel shower head was old and needed updating. The water pressure was lackluster. The T.V. guide didn't match what was on T.V. The provided water in green plastic bottles tasted funny. The heating/cooling didn't work at all. The room was 24C and no amount of changing the thermostat made it cooler. Note that the front desk people could also change your thermostat remotely. So, the room temperature was not ideal for sleeping. It would have been great if the window opened if only a crack."
