"This B&B is in a nice setting. Although it’s on the main road, it’s quite set back and the pub being just opposite this makes for a lovely combination. There is also a convenience store along the road if you wanted to get a morning newspaper etc. The room was very spacious which was nice. Just had to be careful of the beams.
The only thing I didn’t enjoy personally was that the owner was quite headmistress like in terms of rules and what she wanted, which basically made us feel like kids being...

"The accommodation was excellent 👍 Emma and Grace mother and daughter housekeeping team ( Emma is the housekeeper and excellent at her job)were both amazing and very accommodating, made our stay very comfortable, couldn't do enough for you and because of this we have booked again! However, the pub attached to the accommodation was closed till 3pm each day, we arrived on a Sunday and couldn't check in because the system doesn't work on Sundays? We were told to check in the next day at 3? You have to register your car on arrival, which we obviously couldn't do as no system..and apparently you have to do this every single day you are staying? Wth? We weren't told this until we were about to leave 5 days later 😤 not impressed, seems a little daft if you are staying in they're accommodation to have to check in at the same time each day? Surely they know how long we are staying? Everywhere else we have stayed, you book in and register your car on day 1..that's it, they know you are staying. On the note of the pub being closed most of the day, apart from Sunday there was no food available all week? They offer a breakfast hamper but there's a fab cafe a hop, skip and a jump away. The beers left a little to be desired but there is a pub just down the road. The WiFi was not very good, having said all this we will definitely stay again. I know that they are in the process of revamping the property but seems just a little bit overwhelmed. The staff are lovely.😊"
"Was basic but clean. Busy in public areas. Room service was slow and food cold when it arrived. Room are not well soundproof I could hear the man in the room next door talking on his phone! "
"Great position, sunny afternoon siting lakeside was wonderful. The hotel was a little tired but clean. Breakfast was horrendous, went down at 9:30 ( breakfast finished at 10:30) and didn’t actually receive by cooked breakfast until 10:45, 1.5 hours for a very basic breakfast is just not acceptable. I would image the kitchen being under resourced, plenty of serving staff, just nothing coming out."
