We had a beautiful room with a large balcony with a view of the mountains. The staff in the hotel were charming and helpful. Breakfasts could be had in your room or the restaurant. There was yoghurt with homemade fruit compote, fruit salad, and delicious rolls and pastries.

A big thank you to everyone at Alaia Lodge for such a warm welcome. We came here on a father/son golf trip we had wanted to do for many years and we chose to stay at Alaia because of its convenient walking distance to the golf course, and it proved to be a wonderful choice. We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful town, surrounded by lovely scenery. We only wish we had more time to explore the area and take in more of its beauty!

L'Etrier is a very good hotel with spectacular mountain views over the valley. These are perfect from the restaurant/ bar area. Not all rooms have been upgraded(August 2015) and you pay accordingly. Hotel staff are first class and I suspect it is privately run.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel two nights ago. Everything felt new, fresh, and exceptionally clean, with beautiful décor throughout.
The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially Rune, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. His service was excellent, and the complimentary shuttle service was such a thoughtful and convenient touch.
We also loved the stunning views of the nearby mountains, as well as the lovely sauna and large, relaxing jacuzzi. Overall, it was a...

I don’t usually write reviews but felt compelled to write about le grand chalet. Excellent hotel with fantastic staff. Great views, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast (included, how refreshing!), fabulous wine list, helpful transportation service. Special thanks to Carol for all the advice, help with bookings, and making us feel so welcome; and to Charles for making the logistics of getting to/from Ski slopes and town so seamless. This was our first time to le grand chalet. We are already...
