This tiny desert outpost serves as your gateway to nearby Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Grab road trip supplies at the petrol station before heading out to explore Utah's spectacular red rock landscapes.
There is surely no better place to stop in the vicinity of Arches/Canyonlands. This place is an absolute gem in the area. The couple that run it are lovely, with the breakfast being freshly made to order in the morning. The rooms are all fantastically decorated, with a very comfy bed and fantastic bathrooms. The setup is also fantastic for enjoying a few drinks in the evening around the camp fire, but once in your room you can't hear the oitside world. I would stay again in a heart beat!

What a find. Was going to stop in grand junction until i saw the price of hotels and parking charges. Green River is such a lovely quiet town. Hotel has a lovely funky lobby. Guy who checked me in was nice and friendly. Truckers use this hotel due to its location. Room was very comfortable though i had a view of the enterance arch so no actual sunlight but was only passing through. Good coffee in the lobby amd breakfast was waffles and usual motel fair. Checked out the "ratio" if you can. Also...
