"Safe parking at hotel. Check was fine but our first room had a very 'chemical' smell so we paid an extra £25 for lake view room. Breakfast was nice but bacon & eggs had been sitting a while ... Spa area nice except no where inside to sit at pool & difficult to swim due to lanes closed for classes most of the afternoon.
We had a nice stay overall but not sure if we'll return ."

"We were very much made to feel welcome with a cup of tea and home made scones to begin with. The bedroom had a lovely view of the lake and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was also excellent with a lovely traditional fry and homemade banana bread on offer. The owner was friendly and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this B& B"

"The hotel is very handy to town centre and shopping centre 20 min walk 5 min drive. Didnt use bar/restaurant apart from breakfast which is all good apart from the pancakes they were dreadful about an inch think and stodgy really not good i left them and seen other people did too i did say and was offered alternative but i declined everything else was good. Porridge amazing"
