The Historic Bullock Hotel

8/10 Good

"This is a historic hotel. Do not expect the rooms to be spacious. They are are very comfortable for the room they are. Our room 212 had a fan that sounded like a steam engine! Once we figured out how to turn it off the sleep was great! Breakfast at Bully's is a must! The food is very good and prices are the best I've seen in a while. I do caution about the pancake, one will fill a medium pizza pan, really not kidding. It is one of the best tasting pancake I have ever eaten! My only complaint is our window shade could not be raised and the TV didn't work but we were never in the room except to sleep so not a big deal for us. Would we come back? Yes! If only for the pancake!!!"

Spearfish Canyon Lodge

"We loved our night at Spearfish Lodge. It’s the most adorable property. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. There are several trails you can access from the property. Our grandson learned to play checkers at one of the tables in lobby. Loved that they had a fire going in the evening and morning. Dinner at their restaurant across the street was delicious and the cinnamon rolls we bought to go were amazing. Great place to stay!"

"This is a very well maintained motel. It was the first time I have stayed there. The price was reasonable considering what rooms in this area of the country go for in the summer. The restaurant was great too. Good burger and local beer from a Sheridan WY brewery. The waitress was very helpful too. I would definitely stay here again."
