Farmstay in Cumberland County

"I really enjoyed my visit here. It was very quiet, clean and the view from the lodge was so lovely! The food at the lodge was good and reasonably priced. There were several good hikes that were accessible from the lodge. "

"Was traveling out of town for a funeral in the area and searched for a place to stay last minute, read the reviews and figured this place would be acceptable as we were only spending one night boy was I wrong , when we arrived the gentleman at the desk was very friendly and professional but that’s the only positive of this stay ,the room was very dirty, look I spent 34 years working out of town so I’ve spent my fair share of time in some rough hotels and this room was not the worst I’ve seen but it was close , so much so that my wife and I slept on top of the bed spread and slept in our clothes. Why didn’t we just leave you might ask well it crossed our mines but we were just exhausted from traveling and frankly exhausted from a sudden unexpected death in our family that we were attending the funeral for the following day . After this experience we will NOT be using Hotels.com or Days inn by Wyndom in the future regardless of the location, which is too bad because I’m sure some of their locations are not managed this way but having said that I won’t take that chance again 👎👎"

"Old building. Nasty looking. Rooms remodeled by an ameture. Bar next to motel, playing loud music til late, keeping me awake. Would not recommend it to a dog."

"I loved the large window facing the woods at the end of the cabin. We left the shade open and layed in bed and looked at the stars, then the sunrise in the morning. It was beautiful. Unique but delicious "pour over coffee" provided with snacks and little mini s'more kits and they came by each day to see if we needed more as well as for wood. We unfortunately had an illness in the family and had to cut our stay a day short. No toaster or oven so we made skillet toast for breakfast. No microwave either."

"This is an older hotel that could use some upgrades but a good choice for the night while traveling. The town is very small so food options are limited but there is a grocery store right next door and a Pizza Hut within walking distance. I noticed coffee and cereal in the lobby and a fridge with sodas. It is quiet and easy to get to. The office staff was friendly and helpful and I would stay here again."

"This charming bed and breakfast has updated bathrooms that still fit into the charm of the property. The host is so very kind and attentive and has supplied everything once can think of in the room. The breakfast was delicious and so much food. If I ever find myself in the area again I will definitely stay there again. "
