"Lovely B&B with spacious, comfy room & bathroom, all spotless and containing everything we needed. Excellent breakfast with a good selection of bars and restaurants nearby for dinner. Easy walk from here down to Bowness. Easy check-in and advance breakfast ordering system but the icing on the cake were the lovely staff. Advised them we had just got quietly married and got back to find they’d decorated our bed! So sweet ❤️"

"Wonderful staff. Old building with no AC, which as a traveling american in summer was an adjustment but lots of history to the building and the staff was super helpful. Beautiful views as well!"

"Lovely staff and a very comfortable stay. The property is located in a calm and quiet town, making it an ideal place to relax, especially if you’re travelling with your own vehicle. "The room had a great view, was small but comfortable, and the bathroom had been updated. Evening meal, breakfast staff were friendly and polite. The car park had limited spaces. As other guests have mentioned, the stairs to the rooms are steep and numerous"
