The staff are exceptionally good and friendly

Amazing

We received such a warm welcome at The Boars Head. It felt like everything in the room was really high spec. Loved that we had a stocked fridge (you had to pay for most items, though!) with free milk and a free dram each, too! A espresso machine with good choice of coffees and tea bags. The decor was beautiful, the shower was powerful. The toiletries smelt wonderful - always good to get conditioner supplied, too - A marker of a good quality hotel, in my opinion! We had dinner here and it was...

Really nice staff, pleasant room and fabulous breakfast.

Where to start.. Upon arrival we were met with a big smile and our room was ready, and a lovely one at the front of the building which is part of the original coaching house, 4hrs later I had a freak accident on some steps (totally my fault not looking where I was going) I spent the next 4 nights in hospital with 2 broken ankles but these guy's couldn't do more. In-between picking my daughter up and bringing her back to the hospital with supplies and keeping in touch they then allocated a...

Clean, modern accomodation. Comfy bed. Nice and quiet. Slept very well.

Beautiful hotel and clean. Staff were very friendly and would take their time to talk with you while serving you.

Having stayed at the Hotel over the years we were aware, this time that the dining arrangements are now so expensive as to make one of the restaurants not somewhere we would wish to eat . Other than that the hotel is still somewhere we would happily recommend for position, comfort and the amazing staff

Perfect location, great room, friendly and helpful staff and delicious breakfast. Would recommend without hesitation

Great location, really friendly and professional staff. Hotel is very clean with wonderful views of the sea. Breakfast was served on the bistro with lots of high quality options.

Fantastic room and service, well presented and adapted to the government’s pandemic guidelines. Jessica was incredibly welcoming and clearly loves her work. We just wish we’d stayed longer.

Beautiful place. I've stayed here a few times now and it never disappoints.

Hotel, surrounding grounds, and St Andrews itself was fantastic. Well worth a visit even as none golfers.. Mr and Mrs Sutton were extremely impressed with all of the staff, in particular Levinne who went the extra mile for us…. A very warm welcome awaits Levinne and family if she ever visits Devon!!

Absolutely fab stay. Maybe a bit more expensive than it should be for what’s offered. Room was bigger than expected and very clean. Wardrobe was small but it did the job for one night. Lighting was quite poor for getting ready and the vanity mirror is far too high to be useful. Bathroom was small but the shower was big and very good pressure. Basic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel) are provided. Tea and coffee also provided in the room. No parking on-site but there is a car park...
