A wonderful hotel within easy walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and the main tourist attractions of Cuzco. The hotel is central enough that the tour operators will pick you up from reception, which is available to assist you at all hours, even packing you a breakfast for the early tour starts. The breakfast at the hotel is excellent with a great team in the mornings. There is filtered water in reception along with tea making facilities, however there is no coffee there or in the rooms so you may have to bring your own. We were in the front of the hotel in room 202. The bonus is that you get a fantastic little balcony to watch the world go by, however the down side is that it can be very noisy early in the morning from car alarms, the locals coming home or cadets (? Military or police) singing as they go up the street. This adds to the character of the area, but if you need your sleep bring ear plugs or use the ones conveniently supplied by the hotel. Also be aware that there is at least 20 stairs you need to go up and down with bags at the front entrance. The staff are fantastic at answering any queries via Expedia messenger. All in all this is truly wonderful hotel with lovely attentive and great staff who go out of their way to make sure you have a fantastic stay.
