The gateway to Mount Rushmore offers more than just famous faces carved in granite. Visit Custer State Park early to spot bison herds, then drive the Needles Highway for rock formations that'll make your camera work overtime.

Free parking was great, room was lovely & beds really comfortable. Breakfast was plenty of choice of hot & cold foods. Loved the location for walking up the road for restaurants. Location good too for exploring around the area with the car.

Staff friendly and helpful.
Nice breakfast included both hot and cold options.

We only stayed a night but wish it was longer. It is a lovely hotel - well maintained and appointed, friendly and efficient staff, good facilities.
The breakfast far exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.
