"Beautiful hotel right at the train station. Our room was a work of art from top to bottom including a beautiful bathroom. We could not hear the train station. The staff was friendly and we got a free river trip by boat to explore the area. We also rented an all day canoe to explore Spreewald and its village by paddle. "Die Umgebung der Unterkunft befand sich in einem älteren Stadtviertel, sicher kein kein typisches Ausflugsziel. Ein echter Pluspunkt war jedoch die Nähe zum Bahnhof – nur 7 bis 8 Minuten zu Fuß, und von dort war man im Handumdrehen im Zentrum von Potsdam. Wir würden definitiv wieder in der Pension am Filmpark übernachten. Der Vermieter war äußerst entgegenkommend, denn wir sindviel zu früh zum Check-in angereist. Unangenehm empfand ich, dass das Bad außerhalb des Zimmers lag und die Badewanne unter einer Dachschräge als Dusche zu nutzen ist. "A clean, well-run little hotel. On the dated side in terms of decor, if that matters. Solid amenities for tourists looking to save some cash too: fridge, kettle. They also have a nice little breakfast. We loved the location - easy bus to main station, nearby useful trams and ubahn/metro, also walkable (30 min) to Brandenburg Gate / tourist enivrons.
