"Wonderful one night stay in good location. The guy on reception couldn’t have been more helpful, gave us a complimentary drink (non alcoholic) and then showed us to our room. "Otroligt bra service och bemötande från incheckning tills vi lämnade hotellet. Vi bodde i ett av rummen längst ut med privat pool och egna solstolar. "This is an excellent hotel located within walking distance of city center. We had a party of three, so we received a two room suite, which was excellent. "This hotel is fantastic! The location is perfect for walking around the old town. As always in these ancient towns, parking can be sporting. However, here, simply drop your bags nearby or at the hotel and look for a place. We found a free parking space quite easily and it was a very busy day. Just drive around the fortress. Our room was perfect. Clean and a great shower. The owners are lovely. Restaurants nearby have the best of Cretan cooking. Highly recommend."

"Great location across from beach. 7eur taxi ride from bus station if u don't want to walk. Big rooms with balcony looking out to road and beach. Old town is mins away and either directions leaving hotel you will find lots and lots of tavernas. The host was very helpful in arranging a taxi for us for early departure to Heraklion to catch ferry since Ktel bus ride was cutting it close. Although bus ride is much cheaper and coach is really comfortable it costs 80eur by taxi for about 1:10mins...
