"This was a convenient location for the C2C. Food was not bad pub food. Accommodation in need of refurbishment which is a shame as the building has great potential. Staff friendly and accommodating."

"had the Cook Room -- as it was warm had the windows open which proved a bit noisy - barrels being unloaded early morning. Staff from kitchen a little rowdy. Back entrance for night time could do with a little spruce up - a bit scruffy. Not ideal when staying alone - a bit dark. Overall a nice stay. Parking wasn't too bad. Good food and breakfast. Room had everything needed. "

"This is a really nice, out-of-the-way place. It is part of a working farm but is very quiet indeed. The owner (Jane) is very attentive and a very good cook (the breakfast was particularly excellent). If you're looking for some peace, and some old-fashioned hospitality, this is a really great option."
