"Wonderful "

"This motel experience was hard to fault. The new owners have made improvements. Lighting gives very good light in all areas especially for reading in bed and in the bathroom so that the vanity is well lit. There was a small but efficient electric heater in the lounge dinning area. TV in lounge and TV in bedroom which we did not try as we were too bust enjoying the local events. A good supermarket in the town gave us the extra food we required. A kitchenette in the unit enabled us to heat food and make a breakfast."

"Good basic room. A pleasant outlook - I spent an hour watching pukekos on the lawn while I enjoyed a coffee at the little outdoor table. Very comfortable bed. Disappointed to find no breakfast was available despite it being listed in the description of the motel."

"Have stayed at this location multiple times, with each and every occasion being absolutely wonderful! The staff are so lovely and the rooms are always in impeccable condition with a wide variety of ammenities that I still keep being pleasantly surprised by. I always reccommend Totara Lodge when friends and family mention wanting to find lodging near Wellington and have yet to hear any bad reviews from them either!"
