"This historic house is beautifully maintained and the rooms are very comfortable. We had the attic room which is extra large and has an amazing spa shower. The proprietors took great care to prepare a wonderful breakfast each morning. Loved our stay at 1899!"

The only thing I wish this hotel had was an ice machine, but they did have ice for sale. My family and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Deadwood. "

"A very unique historical hotel. Nice large room and bathroom. We appreciated the parking and vicinity to downtown, shops and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We forgot an item in our room and they got it sent to us right away. We've already reserved a room for our next visit."

"Great place to stay to walk around historic area Deadwood. Paul was super helpful in helping us park and even carted us to Mavericks for steak ao we got there before they closed. Lobby bar lounge area was nice. Would definitely recommend."

"Conveniently located! Very nice hotel with excellent staff. We loved how it was connected to the casino and a delicious restaurant. We met many friends and had a great time as we were stranded during a blizzard. Staff worked eagerly to clear the snow. It was a great place to be stranded!"

"This was probably the most complete hotel we have ever stayed in, and it was unexpected as we were camping in Zion and our tent broke on a very windy overnight. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The pool area was well maintained and refreshing. It was a large pool with plenty of outdoor seating. There were also two hot tubs. For food there were at least 4 restaurants within a 3 min walk. The rooms had vaulted ceilings, we were on the second floor. The king with pull out was...

"Very nice and clean rooms. Very quiet, doors are heavy and thick but close quietly. Be aware that this is a simple room no drawers for clothes. We hung up what we could and left underclothing in the suitcase on rack, which was not an issue for us."

"We were there for a family reunion, 80 + people, everything was very nice , except, in order to use their WI-FI, we had to pay for it…so we agreed to pay, but they were never able to connect us, they did reimburse us, but without WI-FI for 3 days….seemed Pretty bogus!!!!!"
