"Very clean and as big as a small apartment, with a large refrigerator and large microwave. Very comfortable bed. I was very impressed with the overall stay"

"PROS: Staff was great. This room reminded me of a small apartment. You walk in and it's directly into the kitchen which has a small stovetop, full-size fridge with ice maker, dishwasher and microwave. They provide some plates, utensils, a small pot and skillet, toaster, coffeestuff, paper towels and 2 tablets for the dishwasher. The living room has plenty of space and it's own TV and AC. The entertainment center has roomy shelves and drawers. The bathroom is big and has a stackable washer/dryer in it although I believe an employee said not all the rooms have them so you have to ask for it. The bedroom has two large closet spaces and they provided a laundry basket as well as an iron/ironing board and some hangers, maybe around 8-10 of them. There was also another TV in the bedroom and it's own AC. CONS: Room was not as clean as it could have been. There appeared to be dirt/sand on the counters, living room shelves, etc and on the floor. I had to order my own cleaning supplies to tidy it up. Stove's fuse burned out 2x and maintenance had to come by to fix that (he was super nice). Door lock jammed 3x and they'd have to reprogram our key cards or have maintenance fix. Hallways and carpets seemed dingy and I would see trash on floors or guests leave trash/dirty towels outside their door. I recommend this place but these were my issues. Pet fee for my cat was $50/non-refundable. I did not receive $10 beverage/food credit. It wasn't even offered/mentioned. 7-day stay."

"The room was well appointed, roomy and the design was well thought out. Outside noise was not much of a problem. Television could have been a bit larger. All in all great room for the money. We would stay there again!"

Tru By Hilton Amarillo West
10/10 Excellent
"We had another great stay at Tru by Hilton Amarillo West while traveling home from Colorado. Our family of four (2 adults and 2 teens) stayed on a Monday night. Check-in was quick and easy, there was plenty of parking available, even with our Expedition pulling a car hauler with our Jeep. The hotel was clean and quiet. We loved being able to walk through the adjacent parking lots to Red Robin for dinner. The kids enjoyed the pool table area where we played a couple rounds of pool and watched soccer on the TV. Our room had two queen beds and was clean and comfortable. We loved the shower products provided from Not Soap, Radio. Although we did not travel with our dog this trip, we noticed how pet-friendly this hotel is. There were water bowls and treats near the main elevator, and we saw several furry friends checking in. Even with many pets around, we never experienced any issues with cleanliness or noise. The first-floor ice machine area was convenient, with buckets, cups, and a water bottle refill station available. Breakfast was a highlight! The kids loved the fresh pancake station, oatmeal station, and yogurt station with lots of topping choices. There were also eggs, sausage patties, bagels, juice, and more. We normally choose hotels with pools when traveling as a family, but for a quick overnight stop, this hotel is worth it. The cleanliness, comfort, and dependable breakfast make it an easy choice. This was our second stay within a year."
