"Reception staff were excellent. Very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was ok. My room was ok (105) but during the night I had to open the window because of continued smell of cooking oil. Glad I stayed just the one night "

"Breakfast was very good and freshly cooked. Plenty of choice with continental breakfast too. Room was clean but a little tired in places. The shower head needed descaling but bathroom was pretty clean. The pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were all an added bonus to our stay and very clean as well. The staff were exemplary. Very polite, helpful and courteous. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and is very ornately decorated and furnished. A great base for exploring Suffolk. "

"A very tired hotel, rooms & spa facilities. Bedrooms are in desperate need of refurbishment. Our sink & bath didn’t drain. The hand soap dispenser didn’t work. The spa is exceptionally tired. Mould around the sinks. Breakfast had a good selection but it had all been sat out for some time. Overall, a disappointing stay I wouldn’t recommend it. "
