"Clean and convenient property. All common areas were very clean. We appreciated breakfast and being so close to the airport. But our room was awful. It smelled bad. The bed smelled old and sour. The bed was very low to the ground; squeaked at every move and dumped us both to the middle. That mattress needs to be trashed immediately."

"Not the Embassy Suites from the earlier days. Lots of noticeable downgrades in food quality and room amenities, similar to most hotels these days. The staff was excellent and that was refreshing."

"The airport shuttle was very convenient to and from the airport and Mall of America. Our room wasn’t clean during the time we stayed. The property was well maintained. The pool room wasn’t working when we stayed."

"The property is easy to access from the major Hwy system. It is nice that they have a restaurant in house but the prices they charge seem to be excessive."

"The hotel seems new, all the finishes and furnishings are fresh and clean, and somewhat dramatic. The price was reasonable. The bed was comfortable, the room quiet, and the HVAC worked fine. It is very convenient to the metro/light rail system (an easy block-long walk) and close to the MOA as well as nice restaurant. Sorry, but there are negatives you should be aware of so you won't be caught off guard. The room could best be described as minimalist, as are some of the expected services. ...

"Hot tub. Was out of order. Pool water for some reason was very salty. The breakfast was very mediocre. Fitness area wasn't accessable."

"Clean hotel next to the airport. Big, quiet room. Hotel could use a larger snack/to go food section - after a very long travel day and getting in late at night, there was almost no selection of snacks to buy."

"Lovely hotel with very well-trained staff. Room was spotless as were all the public areas. Big sporting events were in town (volleyball national championship; special athlete event), and so hotel was sold out. But it did not feel crowded. The pool was closed due to repairs, but that happens. Fire/Lake Restaurant is fabulous."
