My stay at The Manor has been extremely disappointing, especially considering the price and the “luxury boutique” label they advertise.
The room I was given has no real windows. Technically there are two openings, but they face a blank wall, so the room feels claustrophobic and gloomy. The Wi-Fi is nearly unusable, constantly dropping every few minutes. The bed is stiff and uncomfortable.
The shower had no hot water. It took the staff about half an hour to “fix” it, and even after that the water was only lukewarm. Not acceptable at this price point.
Room service was another letdown: the prices on the in-room menu didn’t match the bill they brought me, and the difference wasn’t small. On top of everything, there is no bathtub, and the toilet paper is single-ply. Calling this a boutique luxury experience feels misleading.
For what they charge, the quality of the room and the overall service is far below expectations. I regret choosing this hotel and don’t consider it worth the money.
