Holiday Inn Express Denver Downtown by IHG

Holiday Inn Express Denver Downtown by IHG

8/10 Good
"Location is good. Rooms are very, very small. They don’t even offer a water bottle in the room. Whole building is on centralized air so it doesn’t get any cooler. They offered to bring us a fan for the night… Breakfast is decent but eggs are like powder made…horrible."

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Denver

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Denver

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed here two separate nights, 4 days apart. The first night we booked through expedia and the second directly through the hotel. We really loved our stay the first time- everyone goes out of their way to help you, very service oriented, beautiful hotel, there's a starbucks on premises on ground floor, beautiful pool. The second time we stayed here, we got a slightly smaller room and no one told us the pool would be closed the next day when we checked in. I asked a maintenance worker near the pool and he said it should be open at 9 am. the next day, I went down to starbucks, then to the front desk to double check that pool would be open, they said yes at 9, so went back upstairs to change into wet bathing suit, and came down again and went to the pool a few minutes after 9. Then 2 minutes later, a maintenance guy says the pool is closed, but I said the night before they told me it would be open and front desk told me it would be open a few minutes ago. they said sorry. So it was annoying because it was our last day in Denver before traveling back home and they said they're closed for a photo shoot. I said why is the photo shoot not done before 9 am, before the pool opens? Anyway, I later spoke to a manager and she said it wasn't a photo shoot, it was closed because of the chemicals in the pool. She didn't sound so trustworthy, but anyway she gave us a discount on our stay. Other than the pool not being open, it was a great stay- and would recommend it to everyone."

"Great place to stay! There was a HVAC issue w my room that staff responded and corrected. Then there was a leak in the bathroom ceiling where I was promptly moved to another room. Very helpful staff! I definitely recommend staying here!"
