This hotel is always a blast for downtown events. I liked being able to text the front desk for things we might need as well. Staff was easily accessible when needed and helpful and friendly. Was able to change rooms upon checkin to better fit our needs and the front desk worker was never annoyed, very friendly.

The cascading fountain helped muffle the lobby sounds and the glass elevators were super cool. My room was cozy and the bed just right. Will stay again! Oh, and a shout out to the valet parkers. Made checking in a breeze : )

Always enjoy staying at the Embassy. The location is great! Walking distance to a good Saturday Farmers Market and restaurants and bars. All staff was great except the breakfast guy making omelets. Thought he was just having a bad day but the second morning he was just as crabby and rude. Property is getting a bit worn but still nice and clean. Can't wait to stay again.

Wow! The room was amazing!! We loved the two rooms and kitchenette! Plus it’s super conveniently located close to downtown and Casey’s Center! Easy walk over to our Concert! All the staff from the restaurant, bar, registration, breakfast buffet servers, pool, everything was just top notch! We loved the hospitality and the valet service!! It was the best! Also we decided to book for Iowa State Fair after our stay!

The hotel is very clean however it needs some updating. The air conditioning in our room wouldn’t shut off after reaching thermostat temp so not got very very cold. We ended up just turning it off. Everything was really clean and the breakfast and evening social hour were wonderful. Love the location.

The staff was terrific. The room was not the cleanest. I found 2 bugs! One was alive on the dresser the other was dead in my 'clean' towel. The air only cooled the front room. The humidity in the room was terrible. The property itself was nice. The buffet breakfast was just typical hotel buffet breakfast. Nothing fabulous.

I have stayed here twice and I can say the first time was better different rooms I guess. The room we had was a good size. The bathroom tub was dirty, the air vents were very dirty and the bathroom door wouldn’t close. The beds were hard and the pillows weren’t good at all. Was very disappointed in this stay. Since the first time was so good. That why we came back. After this stay it’ll be hard to go back for sure.
