Mold on the sheets/bed. BALLS of dog hair all over the room and nothing was properly cleaned previously before giving us our room. Kindly asked the staff if we could be moved as I’m allergic to dogs and he stated very rudely “ there’s dog hair in every room” and refused to move us to another. They need nicer night staff. His lips were all busted up so I’m guessing he didn’t learn a lesson.

This place was absolutely disgusting. We got to Destin a night early and were just looking for a one night stay before we could check into our condo. The place was full of mold, weed and cigarette smell, blood and burn holes in the beds. When we went and asked for a refund the man in the office wouldn’t aprove it since we took a shower BEFORE we looked around also after our 26 hour ride, the man wouldn’t approve a refund. Awful awful experience. The only thing you’re going to get from them is bed bugs!!!!!

The Assistant Manager was very helpful and accommodating every guest. He worked extremely hard trying to assist housekeeping and work the front desk.

“You get what you pay for”. The floor in the sleeping area felt grimy, like it hadn’t been mopped. And the bathroom definitely hadn’t been - you could see the shoe marks from house “cleaning”, but no mop touched the floors of my room. The fridge was too cold and no way to turn the temp down, so all my food for the week got ruined overnight. The door to my room stayed jammed, had to force my way in daily. Overall, just bad stay.

Upon arriving there was a condom in the toilet, questionable spots on the floor, toilet don’t like to flush the shower leaked all into the floor even with the curtain pulled, and we saw a roach crawl across the cabinet under the tv, the bed was hard as a board. 0/10 do not recommend.

Please stay far away!!! It’s is infected with roaches. They don’t even have towels to change out. The workers are out cleaning rooms at 10:00pm they never ask if you need anything

Room was deplorable. Stayed 11 nights- room was never cleaned. Had to ask for towels. Shower curtain had mold the entire length of the bottom going up a foot high. Stains on the ceiling. Door had shoe prints. Filthy Cabinets missing. Absolutely disgusting place to stay.

This is by far the worst motel I’ve ever stayed in. I felt in danger the entire time I was there. We only stayed one night and checked out early due to this. It was disgusting and unclean. Looked nothing like the photos. There are people who live at the motel full time. One man who lived there was basically blocking the stairwell with a chair and grill and was outside 24/7, which made me very uncomfortable. I would sleep in my car before I would stay here again.

Room was in poor condition. Clean and comfortable beds. However the floors, nightstands and bathroom were not cleaned properly. Great location, plentiful parking.

Received a phone call 2 hours before our arrival from Michigan that the hotel “gave our room away”. Asked how that could happen with a reservation in place and Alex at the front desk couldn’t answer that question. Asked for a callback from a manager and 4 days later, that call has never came. We had to scramble to find another hotel on a busy Spring Break week. After driving by the property during our stay in Destin, it appears we dodged a bullet because the property is run down and clearly mismanaged overall. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

Terrible experience. They cancelled on us when we reached there. Our day and plans got all ruined. The staff was rude and didn't even call us beforehand for the cancellation. His excuse was there was no housekeeping. We had plans for cruises that we had to cancel as well. Just because of that cancellation we had to search for another hotel 45 mins apart. We missed our other bookings because of this. Do not trust on their booking.

The rooms were so unsanitary that we couldn't stay there. The rooms obviously hadn't been cleaned any time recently. We had a non smoking room that reeked of marijuana. There were insect/rodent droppings in the kitchenette area, stains and smears of who knows what all over the room, yellow pillows, etc. The property refused to refund us, and we were forced to book elsewhere, due to health concerns if we stayed there. The only pros were that the guy at the desk was nice and the pool looked alright. The front desk's hands were just tied in being able to refund us due to policy. We will be taking the refund issue to Expedia and if they won't assist, then to other consumer agencies. Do not book here if you care about your health.
