"The hotel is located only a few minutes from the beach, many restaurants and small shops. The room was pretty big and sufficiently furnished. The staff was as helpful and kind as humanly possible and they made everything they could to make us feel good there, providing information on where to go and what to do, inviting us for coffee and letting us taste their home brewed beer. "Berat is a UNESCO treasure, so it is a must see place. Castle Park is similar to a Bavarian cabin atmosphere. It is located across the river from walled city and castle, so it is quite an uphill hike to see the fortress. The lady at the desk kept telling us to leave our car at the bottom of the hill and walk across the ancient bridge. It was all uphill from there. Breakfast here was amazing.
