"I have traveled to Bhutan many times and have a tradition about staying in Paro my first night to hike to the Tigers Nest next day and then on to Thimphu. But, I booked an outdoor cabin and received a dark room in the main hotel. I have stayed at this hotel before booked through a local guide group and my room was fine - but this time I was most disappointed. "This is a great property, ideally situated to climb to the Tigers Nest. It's further away from Paro. The rooms are great ( and yes they have wooden baths!! ). Some rooms feature a view of the Tigers Best. Welcome cocktails and a great lounge area."
