"We booked an overnight stop at the Cambridge hotel, on Saturday's very hot day. The room was on the second floor, but there was a lift. The room had a fresh smell and though fairly small, it had all the usual facilities - with the addition of a fridge. We were struck by how really clean it was. The bedding was good quality, and the the air-conditioning unit over the door was the best surprise - perfect for a hot, humid night! We had breakfast in the morning, with freshly made scrambled eggs and sausages, as well as cereals and toast. The coffee machine made a good coffee too. The staff were friendly and helpful, and booked a taxi for us to go into the town centre in the evening. There was no bar or restaurant at the hotel but a huge choice just a short, cheap taxi ride away. So we had a relaxing stay at the hotel. "
