We had to walk a long distance on foot, during which we encountered wild animals — an extremely unsafe situation. "It was extremely difficult to check out. They do not have the facilities for customers to use a credit card. The girl at the front desk is nice but she is over worked; she cooks, cleans, wait tables and acts as thr receptionist too. The room was not ready at 3:30. The owner does not have much understanding about working with Expedia.com. He spoke to me rudely on phone and I do not think he and his staff are properly trained in hotel buisness. "“I recently stayed here, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. When I first looked it up, I saw some older reviews that were negative, but those were from years ago when the building wasn’t finished. Now, it’s a beautifully built place—spotlessly clean, no bugs (which can be an issue in Ella), with a comfortable bed, spacious room, and a pristine bathroom. Everything was just perfect. But the real highlight was the view. From the balcony, I saw the most breathtaking sunrises and panoramas you can find in Ella. The service was outstanding. Priyanath and his team, including the chef and another staff member, were incredibly attentive and always went above and beyond to meet my requests—whether it was arranging a budget-friendly car service or responding quickly on WhatsApp. Even the owner was always available and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting in the future. It’s a hidden gem, and I’ll definitely be coming back "

"The view was amazing at Belmont it was absolutely breath taking and the rooms and washrooms were very clean. The breakfast was good as well. The only caution to look out for it there’s bugs that come in the room at night through the door to the balcony if there’s so hidden spaces, but if u stuff a bag or something in those spaces it should be okay. "
