"The property is in need of renovation. Very dated. Not sure what year it was built but the shower recess looks like 1960s tiles! Extremely narrow sllding door into bathroom that is water affected at the bottom with the plywood all split. Towel rail under vanity was rusty, Draughty non closable window. Pine-lined head board uncomfortable to lean against if you try to sit up in bed. Creaky floor boards, old carpet that didn’t look very clean. Indoor pool wasn’t working. (Main reason we booked). ...

"The room is an old "ATCO room", similar to a mine site accommodation but they are better. The door had an inch gap on the bottom, letting in freezing wind. There was cob webs along the ceiling rafters. The wooden floor was unstable and squeaked with every foot step. The mattress was too soft and uncomfortable. "I loved that this motel is a small, quiet motel on the main Adelaide to Melbourne road. I particularly appreciated that it is pet friendly and that I could bring my dogs into the unit and crate them overnight. A great dog park is a few blocks away. I'll be using it again. "
