"The room is an old "ATCO room", similar to a mine site accommodation but they are better. The door had an inch gap on the bottom, letting in freezing wind. There was cob webs along the ceiling rafters. The wooden floor was unstable and squeaked with every foot step. The mattress was too soft and uncomfortable. "I loved that this motel is a small, quiet motel on the main Adelaide to Melbourne road. I particularly appreciated that it is pet friendly and that I could bring my dogs into the unit and crate them overnight. A great dog park is a few blocks away. I'll be using it again. "

"Great stay. It is a beautiful place and the cabin was spacious and comfortable - as was the common room. The kitchen is outdoors and provides cooking utensils but don't expect anybody else to clean for you. Also you should provide your own food. As it is pretty far out the landscape and the stars are amazing. If the owner is not at the reception when you arrive, just give him a call. He is friendly and fun and can give you some tips for hiking. We did enjoy our stay."
