"Great stay all the way around, staff was solid and room was in great shape. No complaints and would stay again if I’m ever back. Management of Green Mill (their restaurant) should consider not having employees lined up at the bar top post shift - just a bad look, takes away from guest experience. Recommend the place overall!"

"Our stay had a few positives and a few drawbacks. The highlight was definitely the beautiful lake view. However, the room itself felt quite dated. The carpet is showing its age, and the heat register in the bathroom was noticeably rusty, which took away from the overall cleanliness feel. We had indicated there would be five guests, but the room really only accommodated four comfortably. With some updates and better attention to guest needs, this could be a better experience."

"We stayed at The Heartland Inn in Park Rapids and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. They were wonderful with our dogs, which meant a lot to us and made traveling with pets easy. The breakfast was far better than expected—well stocked with lots of options, great coffee, and excellent donuts. The pool area was also a highlight—really impressive and very well maintained....

"The property itself was clean and perfectly acceptable. The walls were thin, and the neighbors, loud. The TV volume could not be adjusted, and so was too quiet to hear. Oddly, though, I could hear the neighbor's TV just fine! An ok spot for an overnight, located near a beautiful park and close to restaurants, shops, and convenience stores."

"I plan to stay here again. My wife and I take a drive every year to see the fall colors. My opinion, this is the only place to stay in Bemidji. Fact is, now I look to stay at Hilton Double Tree locations wherever we travel to. (stayed at one in Denver this past June. Would have stayed at one in Canada in Sep if I could have found one) I'm sold on the quality and service. The Bemidji staff are WONDERFUL. (great b-fast also)"
