"I informed the front desk of a problem with the t v remote and a broken hair dryer on the first morning. Nothing was done to correct either during my stay. The check out clerk did give me a small discount for my trouble. The restaurant meal was excellent."

"We only stayed for one night. The website says check in is 5pm which I thought was a bit late. They did contact us a couple hours early and let us check in which was a nice surprise. The beach is so cute. My five year old played for hours. We didn’t get to utilize the fire pits but I thought that was such a nice feature. The cabin has everything you could need for your stay. "Enjoyed our stay! Beautiful view, friendly staff, cozy little cabin. Very peaceful. I read the other google reviews prior to going and did bring my own linen and tupperware/cooking utensils. The only thing I saw as an issue is that they waited to pull weeds/mow the lawn area by our cabin the day we arrived. It did make a couple ants pop up, but nothing ant spray couldn't help. Very minor. We loved our getaway and experience here and most certainly will be going back again!!"

"Had a fantastic weekend here. We love Oscoda and this is a beautiful spot right on Lake Huron. The manager Chad was very helpful and a super nice guy. Keep in mind before booking this place doesn’t have certain amenities like towels, soap or shampoo and garbage bags. It does have appliances, silverware, dishware, and an outdoor grill. They’re in the process of updating it so right now so many things are pretty rough around the edges, especially the interior of the cabins. We wouldn’t hesitate to...

"Ended up being a great stay! Was concerned on arrival. Our lodging (Garden view) was behind another building and the lake view was mostly blocked (I wasn't aware of this at time of booking). I asked the property manager if we could move to the beachfront and they made it happen. Make sure you head down to Sunrise Kava Cafe and get some great coffee!"
