"I recently had the opportunity to stay at Kashmir Hotel Resort during my visit to Srinagar. Overall, my experience to say was nice, facility is more than average, the location of the hotel was excellent, alittle far from the airport but the scenic route to the place was good 30-40 min drive fom airport easy access to popular attractions, good dining options. "Great view. excellent service. Very courteous staff. However this is an older property under renovation. I did not know about renovations until at the property. Many features did not work. No swimming pool (outdoor) despite being advertised on Expedia and all sites. Room safe did not work and was not bolted Room heating did not work since there was leakage from balcony door There was no lobby to walk, mingle since everything was under construction "

"What I did not like was the fact that at 20K a night for a Superior room you got a pigeon hole. However staff attitude was excellent they moved us to a better room, but in a budget hotel at no discounts, which was again dissapointing. Hotels need to be more upfront. So see and book"
