"I had a week of very quiet restful vacation. I wanted sun, warm ocean water to dip on and cold beer. Got this basic. There was
a pool table to while away some time. And I got to do some surf fishing as well. So all fine with me.
The property is quite remote - around 2 hours from Denpasar airport. You get quiet but no party.
The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The property was clean and comfortable. Food choice from the kitchen is adequate. Overall a good value for your money."

"My husband and I stayed in a standard room for our first night. We felt it was too small and didn’t have any view of the ocean from the small terrace. Probably more suited for younger surfers. We asked to be upgraded to a Deluxe Double Room with ocean views! What a difference! It was stunning! We loved our beach view from the large, relaxing balcony. "Road to the property was terrible, unpaved, rocky and in the middle of nowhere, a detail that should have been mentioned in the listing. My friend got a food poisoning form there and we property doesn’t take credit card as paiement for food."

"My wife and I spent three relaxing days at Umadewi Surf, the staff could not do enough for you. We firstly booked a garden view but upgraded to an ocean view on the second and third night. The upgrade went without any problems and they were very accommodating to our needs. The ocean view suite was very spacious and the bathroom was very modern."
