What an amazing place to stay. So well looked after by Ralph and Letizia. Great recommendations of local places to visit and for a local restaurant, and was happy to book and organise this for us. The suites are grand over 2 levels, with great space and a double shower. Free mini bar with a special complimentary bottle to celebrate Heathers 40th birthday. The property has a wonderful hot tub up in their private forest. They also catered for dinner for Heathers birthday, and the...

Modern motel with very comfortable rooms Staff very friendly and helpful Petone is close to the inter islander ferry and only s 30 min bus ride from Wellington.Shops cafes and restaurants in walking distance

Clean, spacious, well equipped room, friendly and helpful host, very quiet, comfy bed.

It was a last minute booking due to our delayed ferry crossing to South Island NZ...just for few hrs but Michelle at the reception was very helpful at that uncertain time with the ferry service due to deteriorating weather forecast.

Ian and Michelle couldn’t have been more accommodating or friendly hosts. They were good enough to allow us early check in, which was really helpful as we had perishable food in a cool box to put in the fridge. Our room had a very comfortable bed, powerful shower and even a great iron! The motel is very conveniently located to all the great shops that Greytown has to offer. It also has a good sized car park which all rooms are close to. Highly recommended. Alex & Bronwyn January 2025

Paekakatiki is an interesting location and Finns is at the centre of it. Lovely welcome and great rooms. The spa bath was a luxurious bonus

This was an excellent base location as we were visiting family nearby. It was also within easy reach of Wellington. The separate bedrooms and living room,/ kitchen were great spaces. Sky TV was also a bonus.

Great place beautiful setting. Rainbow was so helpful.

Great size room with comfortable beds. Toiletries were excellent and equipped for limited self catering was excellent.

Debated whether to book this hotel after reading reviews. However, it was probably the best appointed room in our NZ holiday. Excellent conversion of former institution which was a hive of activity with local leisure groups but this did not affect us. Only draw back was location in relation to airport as we were flying to Christchurch. The route involved traveling through commuter traffic and then Wellington City Centre.

clear signage to direct to site, advance access comms, incredibly comfortable bed in the shepherds hut, hot shower, access to basic kitchen. Walkable into town. A group on tented side was exceptionally loud, once I shut my doors I couldn’t hear them though.

Arrived early but made welcome straight away.Booked in by lovely owners who sorted our room within ten minutes of arrival. They were a mine of information about the area restaurants and local shopping. Rooms very clean and tidy with nice new comfy beds. Nice kitchen and bathroom areas. Just all good go stay and find out for your self.

Great place to stay. Good cooking facilities, had Sky TV for formula 1. Asked about laundry and one of the cleaners just said give it to me, ill do it and put it back in your room when its done, a great service.

Clean room and comfy bed. Easy parking outside room. Easy to locate on main road. Friendly and helpful staff. Adequate kitchenette and utensils.
