"Eine lauschige Sitzgruppe in gepflegtem Grün - so zeigt es das Aufmacherfoto. Die Realität: Ein trostlose Zimmer, zwei Betten, ein Stuhl, nur kaltes Wasser und Licht im Bad funktioniert nicht. Die 24-Stunden-Rezeption war im 19.30 nicht besetzt, sodass wir durchs Fenster einsteigen musste. Die inzwischen schrottreife Sitzgruppe war von den Hühnern im Garten als Toilette genutzt, der Hahn weckte pünktlich um 4.00 Uhr. "Carlos was amazing picking us up at the airport. The accommodations were pretty marginal and the disco next door was a huge bummer. LOUD music until 2 AM granted it was a Friday night and Peruvian Independence Day. We had a very tasty breakfast made for us when we woke up. In the morning Carlos' wife was incredible. She helped us sort out our rainforest lodge booking."

"Hotel was nice! Close to the river, convenient place. The service was great. However, the room was not good. Although we asked for non- smoking the room smelled like cigarettes. Also, it seemed the room was recently u der constructions and there were some things out of place. Tv was not working at first and it was replaced."

"Half an hour a at from Puerto Maldonado by boat , the place is lovely, with river view and a feel of the jungle without venturing too far. We felt like we got a good insight into the area, with included excursions on the river and into the jungle. Our guide Yuri, who was with us throughout, was very knowledgeable and good. The food was great and they had several veg options . Well stocked bar too . The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had a great stay."

"True jungle experience. Brought in on long covered top boat, must walk on mud steps to get from boat to real steps. Cabins are rustic with screen windows. Bed covered in mosquito netting. Cold showers. Power on 6-9 pm, which was fine bc you go to sleep early. Meals were quite good. Our guide, Marcello, provided by the lodge, was excellent. He saw a myriad of bugs and animals we never would have spotted. Marcello very knowledgeable, made our trip. He took us out on a boat for piranha fishing and a canoe ride another night for animal spotting and sunset views. We saw macaws, white caiman, toucan, otters, tarantula, howler monkeys, capybaras. Really great experience after the four day inka hike to Machu Picchu. "
