"Basic accommodation, prime location, friendly and helpful staff, safe. Exceptional value for money."

"Best place to stay in Ponta do Ouro!"

"Its a nice place to be"

"This was a beautiful location. Hard to get to... 3 hours drive from Maputo and you basically have to hire a driver. The staff was warm and lovely and always wanting to help make the vacation ideal. I was 1 of 6 guests for a couple of nights - and it was incredibly peaceful. be prepared for a serious dose of relaxing as it's 45 min to other more happening beach areas. I did not try the water activities as it was out of season/quite cold in June. I'd say the only disappointment was the "all...

"We stayed overnight. The cottage was clean and very comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Pretty gardens."

"Loved the isolation in a game reserve"

"Great staff, good food, and a fantastic massage!"

"Lovely resort right on the beach, we went as a family and had everything we needed."

"O hotel é bom e se destaca o ótimo atendimento de todos os funcionários. A limpeza é levada muito a sério e o lugar, mesmo sem luxo, merece elogios. Um dos dias faltou água quente para o banho, mas no dia seguinte tudo estava consertado. O isolamento acústico no quarto não é bom e durante a noite pode acarretar alguns sustos, especialmente em vista das paredes do quarto serem de "lona". Café da manhã simples, mas bem servido."

"The property is only half finished. It is 5star accommodation on a building site. Luciano who was the main man there could not have been more generous with his time and hospitality, and he turned what might have been an average stay into a pleasant stay. The roads or should I say dust tracks to get to the property are interesting and we had great times on the quad bikes scooting around on them. Ponto de Ouro was a fascinating place. Very much a seaside village, where bargaining is very much part...

"Its a good combination nature, local content and the people are kind; I will be returning very soon. "

"The personal was friendly, but did not answer on email for check in which would had been helpful as the access is not possible by car. Be aware of hidden costs: Boat transfer, car park and car guard."

"Amazing staff and lots of activities 😀 The walk to the beach is a little rough but is doable "

"Place is a bit run down - shower door in bathroom two was broken. That said, amazing ocean views and easy access to remote beach. "

"The booking I had requested to be changed to 31 December was booked for 31 January and we had no accommodation for the evening of the 31 December. This I discovered when I informed the person who works for or owns the lodge on the 31st of December that we would see him that evening. I am still waiting for my refund as he then informed us he is fully booked so can no longer assist us. He also said it was my responsibility to check the invoice to make sure he had put the correct date on it even...

"Very centrally located accommodation, walking distance to basically everything! The service was absolutely amazing and definitely the reason we would go back!! We had a big group of 14 people and everyone loved the trip! Staff was incredibly helpful! Bathrooms need an upgrade, however accommodation was extremely cheap and definitely worth the money. All in all, very pleased with our trip and planning on making it a yearly trip!! "
