"It was a quiet and clean place to sleep. That's the most important thing. The room was listed as a Double Queen, which was a surprise because when it was owned by Best Western this hotel didn't seem to have double queen rooms, just double Full rooms. So we go it since we had kids travelling with us. Nope, they're still just double full beds. That was flat out untrue. Not a real big deal, just be honest. Breakfast was great, the staff were very helpful, and the outside of the hotel was clean...

"The house was perfect from the deco to the screened in porch. There was everything you needed for cooking, dishes,washer and dryer and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of books and games, and bikes. We enjoyed kayacking, fishing and crabbing from the dock and Tangier Island cruises are minutes away. It was unfortunate that it was jelly fish season so no swimming in the river in 100 degree heat was a bummer. "

I did notice quite a lot of insect activity in the room, which was not expected from how clean everything was. I understand that bugs are small and get into places easily, and are not necessarily an indication of a major issue, but I would suggest regular exterminator service to keep things better managed."

Bathtub & sink area molding & caulking were old & need replacement. Price reflected a minimum of amenities, but advertising breakfast & not even providing coffee was unacceptable. "Something else. The description online said it was only 10.72 miles from St. Mary’s College, and that’s where I needed to be. It ended up being another hundred miles away from St. Mary’s College. The description of the distancewas completely wrong."
