Me, personally, love the hotel. Everything is just fine to me. The mattress and pillows are medium-firm which works just fine for me. However, this hotel is not suitable for the seniors or people with accessability problem as every guest needs to climb up number of steps to the room. It is not really a pleasure moment for my mom. Best place to stay by the lake

Absolutely amazing place.. Very clean large rooms, lots of communal space to relax, eat and watch the world go by. Peacful spot and a lovely lady that made us feel most welcome.. I hope to stay again some time... STAY HERE!! Thank you from us both again 😀

The best hotel in Songkhla Old Town, which was built in the late nineteenth century and now it is known as Songkhla Tae Raek Hotel. Good for both families and soloists who love old and vintage places with great services and yummy dishes, my recommendation for you all.

My dorm was on the 3rd floor, accessible via stairs and the elevator. The dorm had 18 individual capsules that were like a cabins, with a lockable door. Kind of like a Japanese style capsule, felt very private. Inside the capsule are two pillows, two private lights, two USB ports, a shelf, a safety deposit box, two ventilation holes, a controllable fan and railing for clothes. Overall it was a nice hotel to stay. Staff were great I came off peak so in midweek the breakfast was little choice but weekend was much more. View from room 701 is nice. Only problem I find is that the hand basin didn't have hot water. Shower was fine. Reception staff helpful in many ways.
