"Beautiful cozy warm clean cabin in an idyllic pretty location, remote and quiet but within 2 miles of Luosto centre with restaurants, supermarket, ski slope and gift shop. Taxis limited. Shower and sauna fantastic, do need to go outside to get to it but they provided croc type shoes for you. Customer service responded quickly to messages via the hotel.com app. Saw the Northern Lights dancing above our cabin on the first night, absolutely amazing above the snowy trees. "The hotel was clean and comfortable. The view from our window was very scenic. Parking was available at no cost. Dinners were tasty but I didn't particularly like the breakfasts. The breads and the scrambled eggs were not very good. However my husband thought the breakfast was fine. Despite my comments about breakfast, I would nevertheless recommend this hotel."

"Glass Igloos and surrounding were amazing! Nice location with Ski resorts, restaurants and bus stops nearby. A bit of walk for Supermarket. Igloos have all necessary stuff with proper heating. Lots of Finnish varieties in Breakfast. It’s based in Luosto which is a quiet place with wilderness unlike other crowded places which is a huge plus. Overall enjoyable experience and highly recommended!"

"Gáldu Hotel and Spa is an idyllic spot for a truly relaxing getaway. The food was incredible, and although the location is slightly remote, it hardly matters when the hotel’s facilities are of such a high standard. Breakfast was next level — a beautifully presented buffet with plenty of choice, alongside freshly prepared hot options. The spa was also a fantastic experience, clearly well maintained and thoughtfully managed. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and attentive, and it’s clear the owners have put a great deal of care and thought into every detail of the hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"Mostly stunning. However, it's worth noting that this hotel is all about the glorious communal areas. The room (we went for one with a private sauna) was small, and pretty basic - with not even a bedside table on one side of the bed. No tissues in the room, and only a combined shower get/shampoo in the bathroom, if that sort of thing bothers you. These rooms also have a sauna building in front of them, so their view of the river is obscured. We were on a half board package. The food was superb - although it's worth noting the evening meal included is absolutely fixed. The bar has a good selection of drinks. All the staff were absolutely excellent. All personable and happy to chat. Breakfast buffet was also superb (with the exception of the coffee machine which wasn't a bean machine, and therefore the coffee was pretty naff) All in all - not a cheap stay, but a great hotel in a wonderful location - with amazing staff and great food"

"Amazing breakfast included in the room cost 7-10am, got a free upgrade to a suite with a personal sauna in our room, perfectly located in the middle of the village. Maybe 5-7 minute walk to the top of the village and 20th to the downhill ski resort. 3 min walk to the trails. Everything was amazing!"
