"Absolutely central position behind the cathedral. Very smart and well looked after property with some lovely staff. Always smelt amazing and was cool, which is important in the heat of Sicily. Attached restaurant was lovely. Our only criticisms are: cost of drinks in the hotel and the selection at breakfast was limited and not always replenished quickly enough. Would stay again."

"Positief: personeel bij incheckbalie en ontvangst in het algemeen. De kamers zijn echt top, schoon en ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Echt wat je van een 5 sterren hotel mag verwachten. Het ontbijtbuffet is ook werkelijk over de top. Echter, dan blijkt het diner buffet een grote illusie, in ons geval dan. "This is a small but fantastic hotel. The location is great- amazing views of the water and easily walking distance to restaurants and shops and all of Ortigia. The breakfast is on the top floor with windows overlooking the sea. The food was good- only complaint is the eggs were always cold. There was fresh juice, all kinds of coffee and tea.
