"Very good hotel.Super pool although hand rails would help. Sunbeds with towels available, static shades could be improved. Good breakfast. V.good Sri Lankan buffet lunch at reasonable price but get there before the coach parties arrive! Evening meals have moved from the pleasant open area to an all armchair restaurant which we didn't find very comfortable for eating. Our room was good but the extra bed did limit the space available. Very pleasant terrace to the room. We enjoyed bird watching...

"Excellent location to view the elephants in the river at good price. Staff were very attentive, nice pool and great breakfast. 4pm checkin was a bit of a pain, but we understand the reason why. 12pm checkout means you get see the elephants the next morning."

"This property does not take reservations through Expedia. I was charged by Expedia but there was no reservation. I had to pay out of pocket and will now dispute the charges with my bank when I return to Canada."

"Wonderful place delightful people it’s simply impossible to do any better"

"very nice hotel with big room, bathroom, and great breakfast not far from the elephant river"

"It was an amazing experience, the view was incredible the villa was modern and very nice and the service was amazing"

"A bit of an adventure getting to the hotel as it is located at the top of a very steep drive way that meanders though a coconut and pepper plantation. Once there however, the views are great and the ambiance tranquil. The balcony overlooks tree tops, which for anyone seeking a quiet hideaway, this place is perfect."

"Clean, spacious and well equipwd rooms."

"An extraordinary place with a long history, a real gem in this area, not to be missed! "
