"Disappointing stay. A 5-star hotel is false advertising. The Wi-Fi is poor and slow, and I can't use it for work or entertainment. The room has outdated technology. For example, the TV isn't smart, so you can’t use your streaming accounts. Other guests smoke on a non-smoking floor and cook, and the smell invades your room. Housekeeping is bothered when you ask for help. Breakfast is below average and limited (a 5-star hotel without a proper coffee machine for example). But the gym is great....

Makkah Clock Royal Tower, A Fairmont Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Extremely clean and beautiful. Will be staying here again. Nice breakfast."

Jabal Omar Marriott Hotel, Makkah

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel was truly amazing. It was very easy to get to the Haram, a 2-min shuttle bus was always there to take you and bring you back, 24 hours a day. We were upgraded to a junior suite on arrival which was perfect for our family. It had the side view of the Haram and the room was pointing towards the Haram with the recitation playing in the rooms so was ideal to follow along. The staff were absolutely amazing, always friendly and helpful. Housekeeping were superb, as well as the restaurant staff - especially Ghulam. There was a very wide variety of items at breakfast, allowing you to have something different everyday, and everything tasted great. The beds were super comfy that you would fall asleep straight away, and the in-room foot massager was an added plus. There were also massage chairs all over the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying here again."
