"Ours was a five night stay in The Old Paper Shop. Located on a busy road however night time noise was minimal. Once our car was parked we could walk everywhere for shopping, drinks at the pub and visiting the sites. Very comfortable bed and wonderful shower (great after a hard days walking). "Great location in the heart of Winchcombe but tucked away and private. A well equipped cottage with washing machine and dishwasher, lovely big bed, comfortable lounge and a courtyard garden. There was a somw noise from the pub garden two doors down, particularly when they had a live band on, but it didnt go on too late. The bath was one of those with an accessible door on it so you can walk in and a hoist which made it a little strange , but shower was fine. Great stay. Will stay again."

The hotel is charming, elegant and comfortable in a wonderful setting. The restaurant service is excellent. A couple of small points. It would be an addition to one of the 3 lounges if a bar were installed to add further atmosphere particularly in the evening. I was not asked if I would like a news paper in the morning, which I subsequently learnt was included in the rate. The coffee in the morning breakfast was very weak. Would I return? definitely.

Located right on the Cotswold Way with wonderful views, this hotel is a perfect destination for walkers or weekend jaunts. Now this is not a luxury spot with people running around getting massages and Bellinis, it's a straighforward country hotel providing very comfortable rooms with great views. Everything is perfectly clean and well cared for. The staff is top notch. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious (yes, good menus, really good food, very well prepared) and the service was en point!...

The Bell Hotel is in the perfect town centre location, easy to find with a good car park. All of the staff we encountered were polite and very helpful. The room was very comfortable, excellent double bed with fresh, crisp linen and towels. The ensuite bathroom had a powerful shower, easily adjusted for temperature.
