"Needed a place to stay for one night to attend a concert at Tanglewood (about 45 minutes away from The Alander by scenic back roads). The rooms are freshly renovated and vey clean and the setting is beautiful. Didn’t have a chance to try the attached restaurant. Will definitely stay there again."

"My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at the 1805 House B&B. The four-poster king-sized bed was very comfortable, the large tub in the bathroom was a delight, and breakfast was delivered to our room each morning. The hosts made check in and check out very easy. We were in the area for a jazz festival and to visit a friend. This was a lovely country stay for the weekend. "

"This is a beautiful property sitting on a quiet, residential street within a short walking distance to the infamous Warren St. My second time staying with this group's property, but first time staying at Navigator and I loved every second. The room was well-equipped, large bathroom, an iron which was a BIG plus for me and parking in the lot. Another BIG plus. "This is not really a “hotel,” as there is no onsite staff. We had a slight hiccup at the beginning because we had not received the codes to access the building and our room, but that was remedied after a phone call. Our room (a one-bedroom apartment) was very spacious and comfortable. The biggest problem with the accommodation was that we could hear noise (voices and footsteps overhead) from other rooms, and this continued well after midnight, making it impossible to get to sleep.
